The Taylor 816ce was Taylor’s flagship rosewood Grand Symphony acoustic-electric — Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, Florentine cutaway, and the factory Expression System pickup. It is a working professional’s guitar, equally at home on a stage and in a studio, and the resale market reflects that broad demand.
This is a 2008 example in excellent condition with the original case and the original Expression System electronics intact. The serial-number sequence (20080226129) confirms the build date; cosmetic and structural condition is consistent with an instrument that has been played and properly stored, not abused.
