1991 Fender Stratocaster (Floyd Rose)
Early-‘90s U.S. Strat with the factory German Floyd — and the original case.
Why this price
A 1991 U.S.-made Fender Stratocaster with a factory-installed German Floyd Rose tremolo system — a configuration Fender produced in limited numbers for the early-‘90s “Strat Plus” / Floyd-equipped Strat market. The serial (FN206843) places it in the Corona, California production run.
Two modifications are disclosed up front: the bridge pickup is a DiMarzio humbucker (aftermarket) and the pickguard is pearloid (aftermarket replacement). Both are reversible if the next owner wants to source period-correct parts; the body, neck, original Floyd Rose, electronics, and tuners remain factory. The original case is included.
Comparable U.S.-made early-‘90s Floyd-equipped Strats with similar minor modifications have sold in the $1,300–$1,600 range on Reverb and Facebook Marketplace. Asking $1,500.
